Yes, they do- extensively. Try elsewhere or stopping the "other" drugs

Which sports fitness test has the intials ‘B.C’ and you can get a score of 153 on?

March 6, 2010 - 1:14 pm 1 Comment

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, don’t answer. I just wrote them down in intials quickly but I can’t remember this one.

The fitness tests-examples are Beep Test, Grip Strength Tests, Illinois Agility etc.

The only thing I can think of is Body Composition, or bent leg curl ups?

Is yoga good alternative to doing weights or normal cardio exercises or sports for fitness?

February 28, 2010 - 2:16 pm 4 Comments

Is yoga good?

In a given week I run and lift and do yoga. Yoga, in my experience, can be the toughest work-out if done right. Variety in exercise is crucial to fitness. Yoga can provide that, I think, more than just doing weights or cardio. My advice is to mix it up.

Do you think anyone who exclusively runs or lifts weights is as physically fit as this guy?

What is a good school in California if I want to major in Sports Medicine/fitness?

February 26, 2010 - 3:16 pm 1 Comment

This is what i REALLY want to do and i have been dreaming about it since i was young. What schools are there in California that specialize or have a recognized sport medicine program? Preferably near the beach. Thanks!!

UCLA has to be the best school for sports medicine. You should also check Pepperdine, USC, and Long Beach St.

What kind of careers are possible with a sports and fitness management degree?

College athletic department, moving up to athletic director (hopefully) some day. Athletic director for a high school or school district. Facility manager for a health club, arena, stadium, or the like. Working in amateur sports (Olympic governing bodies like USA Boxing, USA Hockey, etc.). Working in the front office for a professional sports team. Working for a governing body for professional sports (like the NBA or the NHL).

Just a few ideas.
