what degree in college would help me the most if i want to become an athletic trainer on a profssional sports team? and how hard is it to get a career like this?

I noticed a lot of the college student-athletes that want to be coaches and/or trainers major in either Kineselogy, Sports Management, or Professional Recreation. Go on some college websites and look at the bios of some of the athletes and you can see what I’m talking about.

as opposed to individual sports? like, how come team sports can draw in a lot of the audiences’ attentions, while at individual sports (excluding boxing, MMA) recieves a small fan base?

New York City spend 1.5 billion building a new Yankee stadium across the street from the old stadium and it has a SMALLER capacity than the old stadium. People say having the team is good for the economy. I don’t see it. The area around the stadium is a pit. Drugs, crime, boarded up buildings etc. I fail to see the benefit of having a professional sports team. Maybe you can straighten me out.

What you say makes common sense but n.y was in competition with the Meadow-lands in N.J.
And yes they built the seat capacity too small but are catering to Wall st & lawyers that have the money for a $5,000. & $2,5000 or $500. seat
They did this to offer the rich or plain poor fools parking space and cup holders on the seats.
I know my stuff even the mayer said it was a bad decision but they didn’t listen.
You see bankers lawyers etc. and most republicans want to think they are better than working democrats.

I mean we find a lot of sports icons coming up in individual sports but when team sports is concerned we dont deliver.Is it because we lack unity?

In team sports, teams should be compared with rings but not players. Do you agree?
Not that they aren’t important, but they are not a way to compare players.

completely agree & i have always thtought this as well.

example: if tim brown was on the 49ers & jerry rice was on the raiders, would we be looking at jerry the same way & tim in a different way as well. their numbers & championships won or not won would obviously be different. you could make that argument for any player in any team sport.

What part does team sports play in the psyche of "homo sapiens"? Won’t you say that team sports in the best medium to keep delinquency at bay? Doesn’t sport reveal that attitude is more important than aptitude.

Q1: Team sports does teach people how to interact with each other in order to reach a common goal.

Q2: It may help keep delinquency at bay, however I doubt that it should be labeled the "best medium".

Q3: I don’t think that this is necessarily true. There are many cases where the more athletic team beats a team with a better attitude.

I really would like to join the basketball team at the university I will be attending this fall. The only problem is I have no basketball experience what so ever, but I just recently started getting into the sport by watching games on TV. I dont want to go to the tryouts and embarass myself because I literally never played any sports in highschool and have no idea what univeristy sports will be like.

I really need help with this…thanks.

Most of the people on a "university" team are there on scholarships so no you probably wouldn’t be able to just "join" without crazy b-skill before hand.

If this "university" is actually on the same level as a community college the yes there is defiantly a large possibility.
