Have you ever played on a youth sports championship team where you won individual trophies and medals?

I have played on a championship dek hockey team(street hockey in a rink) and it was a very thrilling experience. If you have played on a championship team, what sport?

I played softball on a championship team. I also coach, last year I took my championship team to state in Mt Vernon ,Texas. We lost but it was a wonderful and thrilling experience that me and my team I’m sure will never forget.

wii fitness game: EA active sports or my fitness coach Cardio? Which is more interesting/motivating?

I enjoyed playing on the normal wii fit game, so which 1 out of the EA Active Sports and My Fitness Coach: Cardio will be more interesting or motivating? I like short training exerises with variety. Many thanks in advance!!

EA Sports Active is definitely the more interesting. It makes use of two new attachments (a giant elastic band for resistance training and a leg strap to hold you nunchuk in while you’re running in place or doing crunches), and it has an assortment of running, stretching, and even games which simulate sports movements. It has a "30 day workout" mode that paces your workouts, giving you the right number of days of exercise and rest.

My Fitness Coach is really not much more than a glorified exercise video. You don’t even use the Wii remote or the Balance Board; the only thing the Wii remote is used for is to select your music and your background!

I *really* mix things up by playing a variety of these games. Ironically, I get some of the best exercise through games that are not specifically designed for exercise. I tend to play those longer, and so 30 minutes goes by in a snap.

How do you become a ballboy for a sports team?

I’m 19 years old and I’m looking to get a job, I’m currently enrolled at college. I really like sports and therefore I’m looking to become a ballboy for a professional sports team. I contacted the corporate office and they transfered me to the equiment manager and I left a message, do you think it is hard to become a ballboy? do they get paid? do they travel with the team? any other information?

What university has the best sports management masters program?

I am looking to do my masters and i want to go to a good school with recognized sport management program.. preferably one year..

The school I am going to, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst is also a very recognized school in Sports Management and has multiple great internships for those who go into the program.

What are the seasons for college sports and how long does each season last?

Like, what time of year does college basketball, football, baseball, etc. start and how long does it last.

College basketball starts in early to mid November and ends the first week of March, when the NCAA tournament starts, and that ends the first week of April. Football starts the beginning of September, the regular season ends about the first week of December, and then the Bowl season starts and ends the first week of January. Baseball is different, teams from warmer climates start in February and in end May when the NCAA tournament starts. These same schools also play a Fall schedule, starting in September, and going through to beginning of November. More northern schools start in March, end in May, and may play a Fall schedule also, depending on the school.

What does it mean when a team is +20 or -20 on a spread for sports betting? I want to bet on this game but don’t fully understand it. Does the +20 team have to win by 20 or more points for me to win if I choose them? If I choose the -20 team does that mean if the team loses by less then 20 I win? What does it all mean?

-20 is the favorite. They have to win by 21 to win the bet. (If they win by 20 its a push)
+20 is the underdog. They can lose by 19, and you still win the bet.

I am 5′3 and small, and have yet to find a sport or activity where my size would be an advantage.

I’ve tried tennis,swimming, and running but those all favor taller people. Are there any sports I might be better suited to?

Go big in badminton for serious. or maybe…. bocce ball. Any type of lawn game suits shrimps. Maybe just stick to reading Harry Potter and eating goat cheese.
