Is sports betting illegal in North Carolina?

Is it illegal to bet on sports through a betting website? And can you show me a website that says.
http://affiliate.intertops.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_1877b_168 accepts US players and it is legal for you to play here. I personally know a lot of people from the USA that play here and cashout with no problems.

It is illegal to bet on sports in North Carolina, but it is not illegal to bet on sports through an off-shore website.
Do a Google or Yahoo! search for this and you’ll see more details about the law.
Know one thing – if you start gambling on sports, you WILL lose. Do you REALLY think you know stuff that nobody else knows? Do you REALLY think you can accomplish something that less than 1% of all gamblers can accomplish? (That would be the amount of folks that actually can make a small profit on sports betting.)

I’ll try to answer your question without getting on my moral high horse. As long as you are betting within your means, go do that voodoo that you do.

No, its not illegal. There are people betting online, only the rumors spread that its illegal. But this comes from people that dont know what they are talking about. I know very good thats its legal.
