Hello pro football fans from our “Rockstar” studio this is our NFL Injury Report for the sports betting public as well as Fantasy Football players.

Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback Tavaris Jackson suffered a sprained knee during the Vikings preseason game last Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens. The second year QB was forced to leave the game after suffering his injury on a quarterback scramble and did not return to action. Fortunately the injury does not appear to be serious. Jackson reportedly took part in individual drills and did some throwing at practice on Monday. Head coach Brad Childress is hoping his young quarterback could be ready to take part in the Vikings third preseason game on Saturday against Pittsburgh. Experts consider the third preseason game, as the most important as coaches prepare with game plans and veterans will play their most minutes of the preseason. Jackson has had a good preseason completing on 68% of his passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns.

New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady saw no action in the Patriots preseason game last Sunday against Tampa Bay due to a sore foot. Brady has yet to see action this preseason after missing the team’s opener against Baltimore over a week ago. The veteran quarterback told the Boston Globe on Monday that his ankle injury is not the same injury he suffered prior to the Super Bowl against the New York Giants. Brady told reporters that he will receive treatment on his foot this week and was unsure if he will see action on Friday in the Patriots third preseason game against Philadelphia.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was forced to leave the Bengal’s preseason game against Detroit last Saturday with a left shoulder strain. Head coach Marvin Lewis was optimistic with reporters on Monday about Ocho Cinco’s availability for the season opener. He also said that the injury could be one that bothers his star receiver for some time and one that could be aggravated with a big hit or a hard tackle to the ground.

That will do it for today’s NFL injury report. Check out GamblersTelevision.com this week as Tony T delivers his picks from week 3 of the NFL preseason.
