Following the Government’s decision to legalise sports betting, PAS Youth today has mobilised its members to stage a nationwide demonstration outside several mosques in Penang, Selangor, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan and Perak. In Kajang, a crowd of about less than 100 people comprised of PAS youth members and members of the Confederation of Muslim Students’ Association (GAMIS), gathered at the Jamek Mosque compound to protest against the football betting permit. Also present were PAS Youth central committee member Mohd Sani Hamzah.
